[News] Congratulations to the faculty members of the College of Business for being honored as one of the “World’s Top 2% Scientists”
Stanford University released its latest rankings of the World's Top 2% Scientists, including the “Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking” and the “Annual Scientific Impact Ranking.” Two of our professors were recognized in the “Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking”, namely Prof. Yu-Shan Chen and Prof. Kuen-Hung Tsai of the Department of Business Administration. In the “Science Impact Ranking 2023”, a total of four professors have been selected: Prof. Yu-Shan Chen, Prof. Kuen-Hung Tsai, Prof. Yu-Hsiang Hsiao from the Department of Business Administration, and Associate Prof. Yi-Cheung Tsang from the Department of Statistics.

Donation Ceremony of Mr. Zheng Jin-Tai's Paintings Held at The College of Business, National Taipei University
The College of Business at NTPU held a unique painting donation ceremony on the afternoon of 19 June 113 in the Liangmao Lecture Hall. Renowned painter Mr. Zheng Jin-Tai generously donated three exquisite ink paintings to the College of Business of National Taipei University, including “Jade Mountain Rui Cai”, “Smoke and Clouds on Huangshan Mountain”, and “Sunrise on Turtle Mountain.”
Of the three paintings, “Jade Mountain Rui Cai,” and “Smoke and Clouds on Huangshan Mountain” will be displayed in Liangmao Lecture Hall, while “Sunrise on Turtle Mountain” will be hung in the office of the College of Business. The donation was made possible thanks to the introduction of Mr. Liang Shi-An, former Dean of the College, who made it possible for Mr. Zheng to donate these works of artistic value to the College.

[News] The E-Business Centre of the College of Business of National Taipei University held a grand opening ceremony!
The E-Business Centre of the College of Business of National Taipei University held a grand opening ceremony!
In order to promote the signing of an industry-academia cooperation project between the College of Business of National Taipei University and ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. to apply the concept of Metaverse, the College of Business of NTPU with the financial support of ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. has been refurbished and renovated the E-Business Centre. The opening ceremony of the E-Business Centre was held on 19 June 113 at 2:00 pm on the third floor of the Business Building.
During the implementation of the project, the College of Business of NTPU will build a bridge between industry and academia by organising regular research conferences to actively explore the metaverse market and new business opportunities. We will encourage faculty members of the School of Business to apply for projects on metaverse-related topics, and will sign a project agreement with ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. to provide additional research funding support, which includes:
- "5G Campus Private Network Establishment Project", with Prof Huai-Sheng Huang as the project leader.
- The "Greater Thousand Dollar Cosmic Value Community Project" project, with Prof Chia-Chang Tsai as the project leader.
- "AI Multi-Modal Cross-Language Task-Oriented Dialogue System for the Metaverse" by Prof. Min-Yuh Day.
In addition, ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. and Prof. Nan-Cheng Su have promoted quality management related industry-academia collaboration projects, and several industry-academia collaboration projects with the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) are in progress, which have made significant contributions to the university.

The National Taipei University’s Fintech and Green Finance Center (FGFC, NTPU) showcased its latest research on "Fintech, Green Finance, Carbon Market Indicators, and Corporate Environmental Strategies" at the “FinTech Taipei 2024” held on November 1st & 2nd, 2024. The event, which attracted over 150 financial institutions and startups from nine countries, provided a platform for exploring cutting-edge innovations in fintech and promoting sustainable green finance. NTPU, as a leading academic institution in Taiwan specializing in fintech and green finance, demonstrated its groundbreaking research in carbon market management and corporate environmental strategies, driving digital transformation and sustainable development in the financial industry.
The FGFC showcased research covering carbon market sentiment indicators, pollution emissions, cash management, global supply chain carbon risk management, green bond stable coin design, and energy-saving scheduling mechanisms for extended reality devices based on B5G/6G technology. The research team utilized artificial intelligence and text analysis to develop a real-time sentiment analysis system for public attitudes toward carbon trading, providing valuable insights for policymakers and investors. The research team achieved significant breakthroughs in carbon market sentiment indicators, corporate cash management, and innovative green financial instruments through interdisciplinary collaboration.
The participation in “FinTech Taipei 2024” provided an invaluable opportunity for the FGFC team to engage with industry experts, researchers, and startups worldwide. The experience showcased the center's research capabilities and fostered cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange.
